About Word of Truth Ministries
Established in 1994 by Reuben Kigame and his friends, Word of Truth Ministries (WTM) has continued to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands of its critics and opponents in Kenya and the surrounding African nations.
Through preaching, teaching, debates, writing, radio broadcasts and open fora, WTM has proclaimed and defended the Christian faith on university campuses, in high schools, in public and private halls, in churches and on the streets, among other settings.
Through seminars, workshops, short courses and her School of Apologetics, WTM has trained many believers for an active defense of their faith.
OUR VISION
To disarm and dethrone every thought and argument that is brought against Jesus Christ and the Word of God as revealed in the Bible (2 Corinthians 10:5).
OUR MISSION
To reach and influence critics and opponents of Christianity in Kenya and the surrounding nations with the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ (John 8:32).
MINISTRY STRATEGY
To target opinion-makers, critics and opponents of the Christian faith with the teachings of Jesus Christ so that all in Kenya and the surrounding nations can find peace with God and neighbour.
BIBLICAL MANDATE
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15)
Through the Internship programme, WTM has mentored several young people in the area of Christian Apologetics and Spiritual Disciplines.
